So, after trying to run past her mother and I in her swimsuit, Rose finally told us that the boy she’s dating’s name is Zane. And the reason she had to run was because she was late for an afternoon date over at the pool and couldn’t stay to talk.
Things seem to be getting really serious with this boy.
She did say after she greeted Zane in front of the pool, this creepy guy stood really close to them and just stared until they carefully moved around him and inside to have some fun in the pool.
They hung out inside for a little bit before they headed to settle on the edge of the pool. Opposite end of the pool from the diving board, so they could have a little quiet to themselves, she told me. I’m not sure why she’s sharing this more with me than her mother. While I’m happy she’s happy, it’s weird to hear about the details from her.
She said they had a wonderful time, and that I shouldn’t worry too much about her. She knows better than to do something stupid, and she likes that she’s taking things slow with Zane. Which, I will say does help to make me feel a little better.
While she was out, Lauryn and I send Hermione and Harry over to friends’ houses and we had a little bit of romantic time to ourselves too. Seems like maybe the love bug hit a couple people in the family today.
Rose’s date went so well that when she got home, she went straight into making some flirty cookies.
And Lauryn said after Harry tried one he was looking very flirty himself. It’s kind of cute, considering how young he is. Far too young to have to worry about, right?
